Miso Pistachio and Green Onion Crust

This simple crust is delicious on any kind of fish and perfect when you are in a hurry.  You can assemble it in a flash and fish take so little time to cook that if you serve this with couscous and a salad, you have dinner on the table under 20 minutes! Now how nice is that?!?  This makes enough for 4 portion of the fish of your choice, so feel free to double up.  I put it on extra thick so that the top nuts and onions gets barely a little char.  Also feel free to make this recipe on the BBQ by using the indirect heat method.

Simply mix all ingredients together and place on fish.  Cook as usual. You can also use this crust as well as a stuffing inside of vegetables by adding rice or couscous to the mix.

  • 1 heaping tbsp of miso
  • 2 or 3 white part of the green onion
  • 1/2 cup of crushed Pistachios
  • 1 tbsp of maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp of sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
