Yogurt, Lime and Smoked Paprika Grilled Chicken

These grilled chicken breast are perfect to welcome this gorgeous weather!  Ready in no time, you can let these marinate for a few hours and just throw them on the BBQ when you are ready to eat.  Serve these with a little rice, salad, pita or grill some beautiful zucchinis dusted with sumac and salt to tag along and you’ve got yourself a terrific meal with minimum work.

In a resealable bag, add all the ingredients and let marinate anywhere from 4 to 8 hours. Preheat the BBQ to a medium to high heat. Remove the chicken breast from the bag, removing as much as the marinade as you can in the process. Place on the grill and once they are marked, about 5 minutes on each side, place the chickens on one side of the BBQ, turning it off and allowing it to continue cooking with indirect heat. Let rest 5 to 10 minutes once you remove it from the BBQ in order to let the juices redistribute through out.

  • 5 to 6 chicken breast de-boned and skinless
  • 1/2 cup of plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • zest of 1 lime
  • juice of 1/2 a lime
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp of dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp of fresh ground black pepper
